Instructor: Scott Duncan
Scott Duncan has been involved in software engineering, quality assurance, process improvement, methods, standards, training, and consulting since 1972. He has more than 16 years of Agile software development experience, including 12 years as a Certified ScrumMaster. Prior to working in Agile environments, Scott worked with traditional development projects, including 14 years in telecom.
Since 2005 Scott has been a full-time trainer of Scrum and Agile methods. He has spoken at dozens of conferences, both in the United States and abroad. Scott has also been a US representative to ISO/IEC SC7/JTC1 standards work and has been on the IEEE System and Software Standards Committee. Besides being a CSM, Scott has held ASQ's CSQE certification, has been trained as an ISO 9001 TickIT auditor, and trained in both the CMM(R) and CMMI(R).
Scott is an independent trainer for Cprime with extensive experience as an Agile Coach, including as an enterprise coach for 144 Scrum teams across 7 countries for a major international software company. Scott served 2 years on the Scrum Alliance Board of Directors. He also authored Understanding Agile Values and Principles.

Listed below are our cancellation policies and notice periods for all our public enrollment, virtual and in-person courses. Participants who cancel less than 6 business days before the start of class, or do not attend class without prior written notice will forfeit their tuition. If a participant requests to reschedule their class within 6 business days, their tuition will not be refundable and a $200 administrative fee is required to enroll in a new session. Participants are eligible for a tuition refund only when requested more than 6 business days before class starts.
In Person Training:
Participants who cancel less than 11 business days before the start of class, or do not attend class without prior written notice will forfeit their tuition. - Participants for in-person training sessions are expected to comply with the Cprime COVID-19 Policies & Guidelines.
- All training (virtual or in person) must be rebooked for a new class date starting no later than one year of the date of the originally scheduled class.
- If you do not rebook your class within one year of the originally scheduled class, your credit will be forfeited.
- You may use the credit for a different course modality, including self-paced learning, if available.
- Anyone within your company may use the credit or substitute into the class you cannot attend.
- Partner delivered courses may be subject to different cancellation terms.
